Using WebsiteHosting.lk means accepting these terms. This is a plain-language summary of the site's actual operation, not a copy-pasted template.

Nature of the site

WebsiteHosting.lk is an informational publication. It is not a hosting company, a domain registrar, a payment gateway, a web design agency, or a legal or tax advisor. Every recommendation is editorial - it is the site owner's opinion based on published criteria, offered to help a Sri Lankan reader make a better decision. It is not advice for a specific business situation. Verify important facts (prices, taxes, regulatory requirements, contract terms) directly with the relevant provider or authority before relying on them.

No guarantee of price or availability

LKR prices, USD prices and vendor plan features on this site are checked against the vendor's own page on the date shown. Vendors change prices without notice; the price on the vendor's page on the day a reader buys is authoritative, not the price on WebsiteHosting.lk. Availability of Sri Lankan services (a specific host, a specific gateway product, a specific Sri Lankan bank IPG) is not guaranteed by this site.

External providers

Outbound links go to third-party providers (hosting companies, website builders, payment gateways, banks, registrars, other publications). WebsiteHosting.lk does not operate those services, does not control their content or terms, and is not responsible for what happens after a reader clicks through. Vendor contracts, refund policies, dispute resolution and support are between the reader and the vendor.

Referral relationships

When a reader submits a form on this site under a "get quotes" or ecommerce intent (indicated by the CTA before submission), the submission may be forwarded to a Sri Lankan designer, developer or agency matched to the reader's stated requirements. WebsiteHosting.lk may receive a referral fee from the recipient provider if the introduction leads to a paid engagement. The referral fee does not change the criteria used to match a reader to a provider, and the reader can decline the forward at any time before it is sent by saying so in the message field or contacting the site owner. User-submitted data

Data submitted through the contact form or a QuoteCTA (name, email, phone, project brief) is used per the privacy policy. Submitters warrant that the information is accurate to the best of their knowledge and that they have the right to share it (e.g. not submitting a colleague's phone number without their consent).

Editorial corrections

Readers can request a correction via the contact page or by emailing the site owner. Material factual corrections (a price, a product name, a classification) are made within 5 business days of confirmation and noted at the bottom of the affected page per the editorial policy. Editorial opinions (which host is the "best" pick for a given shape of buyer) are the site owner's judgement and are not corrected on demand.

Intellectual property

Original content on WebsiteHosting.lk (writing, tables, calculators, checklists) is copyright the site owner. Copying a single passage with attribution and a link back is welcome. Wholesale republication of a full page, or use for a commercial competitor product without permission, is not.

Limitation of liability

The site is provided "as is". WebsiteHosting.lk makes no warranty regarding fitness for a specific purpose or completeness of information. Readers who act on a recommendation and experience a bad outcome (a slow host, a bad designer, an unexpected renewal invoice) have recourse against the third-party vendor under the vendor's own terms, not against WebsiteHosting.lk. The site owner's liability for information on this site is limited to the amount the reader has directly paid to WebsiteHosting.lk, which is normally zero.

Jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka. Disputes are resolved in Sri Lankan courts, though most editorial disagreements can be resolved by writing to the site owner first.

Material changes are noted in the "Last updated" date on this page. Continued use of the site after the update date constitutes acceptance.
